Darrell Johnson

Darrell Johnson is an accomplished transportation executive with extensive experience in the industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for the Orange County Transportation Authority since July 2003, following a role as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and various positions within the organization. Prior to joining the Orange County Transportation Authority, Darrell Johnson held the position of Director of Business & Strategic Planning at Amtrak from August 1991 to July 2003. Educationally, Darrell Johnson completed Executive Education in State and Local Government at Harvard Kennedy School in 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside, between 1988 and 1993. Additionally, Darrell Johnson attended California State University - East Bay from 2000 to 2003.
