Vinay Singh

Vinay Singh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Vinay is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Orange Neurosciences since 2017. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of SYNG Pharmaceuticals Inc in 2012. In 2019, Vinay joined Apollogreen as the Chief Science Advisor and Interim CEO. Vinay also held the position of Director at EMRO Doctors Inc. and AcreageWay since 2020 and Diabport Healthcare since 2018. Apart from their roles in the industry, Vinay has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at Loyalist College in Biotechnology and Applied Cannabis Sciences from 2018 to 2022, and as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Queen's University from 2006 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen's University from 2001 to 2006 and was recognized as an Associate Member of Queen's Cancer Research Institute from 2009 to 2015. Vinay Singh's education history begins with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biotechnology (Protein Science & Fermentation Technology) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. Vinay further pursued their education and completed a PhD in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics (Molecular Diagnostics) from the same university between 1997 and 2001. Lastly, Vinay Singh received an Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University from 2010 to 2012.
