Gerard Keating is a seasoned educator and facilitator with extensive experience in leadership roles within the educational sector. Currently serving as a volunteer with Orange Sky Australia since March 2024, Gerard has been a trainer and facilitator with ToP Training and Facilitation since 2005, specializing in facilitation and strategic planning processes. Gerard's notable positions include Principal of the Edmund Rice Education Australia’s Oscar Romero Flexible Schools Network from January 2016 to April 2024, where leadership was provided to special assistance schools for disenfranchised young people in various regions. Previously, Gerard held roles such as Regional Coordinator for Oceania Province from January 2009 to January 2016, and Senior Education Officer at Edmund Rice Education from July 2002 to December 2008, where support was offered to enhance leadership and educational missions. Prior experience also includes serving as Principal at St Johns College Darwin from January 1999 to June 2002. Gerard holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from CQUniversity and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Mathematics from The University of Queensland.
