Matt Gornick

Matt Gornick is the Founder and CEO of OrangeQC, established in May 2009, which offers an inspection software platform designed to enhance the quality of facility and janitorial teams globally, including users in universities, hospitals, and airports. Prior to this, Gornick served as a Software Engineer at Inventables from December 2010 to February 2013 and co-founded CrimeSet, a platform that utilized Ruby on Rails to analyze unstructured crime report data, which was incubated by the Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, Gornick worked as a Team Lead and Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where involvement included coordinating a web-based predictive crime analytics application. Previous experience includes internships at Goldman Sachs and positions as a Network Infrastructure Engineer at International Truck and Engine. Gornick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where studies spanned from 2006 to 2010.
