Jean-Pierre Gros

Jean-Pierre GROS is the President of Orano Japan, a position held since September 2008, where responsibilities include strategy and business development for used fuel recycling, logistics, dismantling, and waste management across the Asia Pacific region, including China, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. Prior to this role, Jean-Pierre served as the Executive Vice President of the Recycling Business Unit, overseeing operations at La Hague and MELOX plants with a combined workforce of 6,200 personnel, and leading a 12-member Executive Committee. Noteworthy achievements include negotiating multi-year contracts with EDF, valued in several billion euros, to optimize plant loading. Jean-Pierre's earlier experience includes roles at AREVA NP as Vice President of Fuel Design & Sales and Director of the Zirconium Business Unit, contributing to significant turnovers and employee management. Jean-Pierre holds a Diplôme d’ingénieur in Electrochemistry & Materials from ENSEEG Grenoble.
