Olivia Njathi

Olivia Njathi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare and diagnostics across East Africa. Currently serving as the Regional Director at OraSure Technologies since July 2018, Olivia leads market access strategies and commercial growth initiatives in 13 countries, successfully scaling regional operations and launching local manufacturing initiatives. Previous roles include independent consulting for the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care and GLG, focusing on market entry and access strategies within East African healthcare markets. As a Senior Associate at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Olivia executed initiatives to enhance access to HIV diagnostics while advising the Ministry of Health on policy development. Earlier experience includes significant contributions as an Analyst in Lab Systems and as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Primate Research. Olivia holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MPH in Global Health from The George Washington University, and a BSc in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from the University of Leicester.
