Timo van der Plas

Timo Van Der Plas is a seasoned aerospace professional currently serving as Chief Programme Officer at Orbex since June 2023, overseeing the Prime launcher and Spaceport Construction and Licensing activities. Prior to Orbex, Timo held various roles at Beyond Gravity, including Program Manager for Subsystems, Structures, and Thermal, and spent over a decade at OHB SE where leadership positions included Head of SmallGEO Product Line and Team Lead for Subcontractor Management in Telecom. Timo's career began at Airbus, focusing on configuration management and power systems engineering. Timo holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
