Rushda Majeed serves as the Chief Programme Officer and India Representative at the Van Leer Foundation since July 2017. Previously, Rushda was a Senior Manager at Bloomberg Philanthropies, where involvement included supporting the Smart Cities Challenge in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office. Experience also encompasses roles as an Institutional Reform & Policy Consultant, Senior Research Specialist at Princeton University, and Program Director at ASMA, managing a global youth leadership program. Early career positions involved research and analysis at organizations such as Consensus, Columbia University, and the United Nations, complemented by a master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Eastern Kentucky University.
