Ivan Moreno

Ivan Moreno has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Ivan is currently the CEO of Orbia.ag, where they lead the development of new business ideas and combines agribusiness needs with technology innovation. Ivan also holds the role of a Professor Associado at Cumbre Agro.

Prior to their current positions, Ivan worked at Bayer Crop Science as the Business Unit Head from May 2018 to May 2019, Go-to-Market Director from April 2014 to May 2018, and Distribution Channel Manager from April 2010 to March 2014. Before joining Bayer, they were with FMC, where they served as the Demand and Customer Service Manager from November 2007 to December 2009 and as the CRM and Marketing Intelligence Coordinator from April 2005 to October 2007. Ivan began their career at Syngenta Crop Protection, where they worked as a Project Coordinator from February 1997 to March 2005.

Ivan Moreno's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in IT in 1997. Following this, in 2000 they enrolled in ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing where they pursued a Postgraduation degree in E-Business which they completed in 2002. In 2014, Ivan attended the University of St.Gallen for a short period to focus on Leadership in Transformation Process, an area of study within Organizational Leadership. Lastly, in 2015 they attended Concordia University for an Executive Management Program in Agribusiness, which falls under the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
