Jorge Pruneda

Jorge Pruneda has a diverse legal work experience beginning in 2006. Jorge started at Ritch Mueller as an Associate in 2009 before moving to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates as an Associate in M&A in 2006. Later, they worked as an Associate at Vinson & Elkins from 2012 to 2013. Following this, they transitioned to Trafigura, where they served as Corporate Counsel from 2013 to 2017. Jorge'smost recent role was at Oxy, where they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they are the Vice President and General Counsel at Vestolit and Alphagary within Orbia since June 2021.

Jorge Pruneda obtained a Licenciatura en Derecho from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2001. Jorge then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Columbia Law School in 2003 and later earned a JD degree from the same institution in 2006. In 2007, they obtained the New York State Bar certification, and in 2012, they obtained the Texas State Bar certification.
