John Rockwell

John Rockwell directs management policies, financial, and strategic decisions for Orbion, with particular expertise in executive management and venture capital investment. John has 25 years of experience managing and developing companies commercializing products in numerous tech markets as well as making venture capital investments in these markets. John has served as the leader of four companies, all of which realized successful exits for their investors. In addition to his corporate leadership John was the Founder and Managing Director of Element Partners, an $800 million venture capital and private equity firm. Prior to Element, John was a partner at Advent International Corporation, now a $40 billion global private equity firm where he managed the Silicon Valley office for nine years. John has served on the boards of more than 25 companies.
