Scott T Melin

Scott T Melin is currently the Team Lead for Test Systems at Orbion Space Technology, where responsibilities include designing and building automated test systems. Previously, Melin served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from August 2017 to August 2023, focusing on courses related to testing, design, and automation. Earlier experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Engine Research Center, where Melin developed innovative gas cell designs and high-speed spectroscopy sensors. Additional positions include a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and various engineering roles at Kohler Co. Melin holds a Ph.D. in Engine Research, along with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
