Dr. Cory Burger

Dr. Cory Burger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dr. Cory is currently working at Orbis Education as a Business Process Manager, a role they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they were a Data Analyst at Orbis Education from August 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining Orbis Education, Dr. Burger worked at Indiana State University. From January 2019 to August 2020, they served as a Data Management Specialist, where they developed new retention strategies and initiatives focused on high-risk and at-risk students in the Scott College of Business. Dr. Cory also collaborated with stakeholders to implement student success initiatives. Before this role, Dr. Burger was a Graduation Specialist at Indiana State University from June 2018 to January 2019.

Dr. Burger also has experience at Valley City State University, where they served as the Director of Student Academic Services from September 2017 to May 2018. Dr. Burger's early career includes experience as a Research Assistant at the Monroe County Public Library from June 2010 to September 2011, a Paraeducator at the Monroe County Community School Corporation from July 2009 to March 2011, and a Teacher at Lake Pontchartrain Elementary School from July 2008 to July 2009.

Dr. Cory began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Indiana State University from August 2007 to May 2008. Throughout their career, Dr. Cory Burger has built a strong foundation in data analysis, program management, and student success initiatives.

Dr. Cory Burger's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Indiana State University, obtained between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in History (M.A.) from Indiana State University, completed from 2006 to 2008. Dr. Cory'sundergraduate studies were completed at the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and Psychology between 2000 and 2005.
