Nancy Geedey has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Nancy served as the Vice President of Nursing Academics at Orbis Education, where they managed nursing operations and provided support to the Director of Nursing Academics. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Advisor at Care Logistics and as the Chief Nursing Officer at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Nancy was also the Magnet Program Director and Director of Case Management at Presbyterian Healthcare. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Director of Nursing at Mid Carolina Cardiology and Clinical Support Coordinator at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Nancy also served as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, where they led daily operations and participated in strategic initiatives. Before entering the healthcare industry, Nancy worked at INSERVE Corporation, where they held the role of Director of Case Management and gained experience in budgeting, staffing, and project management. Overall, Nancy Geedey has a strong background in healthcare leadership and has been involved in various initiatives and programs throughout their career.

Nancy Geedey has an extensive education history in the field of nursing and healthcare administration. Nancy obtained a Diploma in Nursing from the Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing. Nancy later pursued their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Gardner-Webb University. Continuing their education, Nancy earned a dual degree, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Master of Health Administration (MHA), from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

In 2013, Nancy Geedey decided to further advance their education and completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a focus on Nursing Executive Leadership at Gardner-Webb University. Nancy also pursued a Post Masters Certificate in Nursing Education at the same institution in the following years.

Nancy Geedey has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2005, they earned the Nurse Executive, Advanced certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. To further augment their knowledge, Nancy obtained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers in 2012.

Through their educational pursuits and certifications, Nancy Geedey has demonstrated a commitment to both clinical nursing practice and leadership within the healthcare field.
