Ryan Hornbaker

Ryan Hornbaker has a diverse work experience in the field of instructional design and education. Ryan is currently working at Orbis Education as a Senior Manager of Instructional Design, a role they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Orbis Education as an Instructional Design Network Manager from December 2019 to September 2021, and as a Senior Instructional Designer from August 2019 to December 2019. Ryan started their career at Orbis Education as an Instructional Designer from September 2018 to August 2019.

Before joining Orbis Education, Ryan worked as a Pastor at Genesis Church - Indiana from December 2015 to September 2018. Ryan also gained experience as a Project Manager in the Instructional Design Team at ExecOnline, Inc. in 2015 and at Ball State University from 2011 to 2015, where they held various roles such as Project Manager, Associate Project Manager, and Adjunct Professor of Computer Information Systems.

In addition to their work experience, Ryan Hornbaker has also served as the Nursery and Preschool Associate Director at Union Chapel Ministries from September 2009 to January 2011.

Ryan Hornbaker obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in History from Ball State University between the years 2005 and 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Ball State University's Miller College of Business, graduating in the years 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Ryan has acquired various certifications, including Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR), Institutional Representative (Ball State), Linking Instructional Materials and Learner Engagement, Peer Reviewer (PRC), and Project Management Certification from institutions such as QM Quality Matters and AtTask, Inc.
