Stephanie Thompson

Stephanie Thompson's work experience includes serving as a Product Development Project Manager at Orbis Education since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Indiana Department of Education from 2018 to 2022, where they held the position of Senior Program Management Specialist and Alternate Assessment Specialist. In these roles, Stephanie developed project plans, facilitated project planning and scheduling, managed contract implementation, and conducted workshops for test administrators. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Kronos Incorporated from 2017 to 2018, where they ensured project success and customer satisfaction for the Kronos Workforce Ready cloud-based services. Stephanie also worked at Pearson from 2014 to 2017 as a Learning Solutions Associate, where they collaborated with various stakeholders to develop custom print and digital solutions. Their earliest work experience was as a Second and Third Grade Teacher at MSD Pike Township from 2002 to 2014. In this role, Stephanie created a differentiated learning environment, administered tutoring programs, and served as a Committee Chair for various events.

Stephanie Thompson has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Indiana University Bloomington. Stephanie also holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Language Education from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Additionally, they have obtained a Gifted Endorsement in Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from Purdue University. Alongside their academic qualifications, Stephanie has obtained several certifications, including Leading Projects, Problem Solving Techniques, Working with Upset Customers, and Writing Customer Service Emails, all from LinkedIn. The LinkedIn certifications were obtained in June and July of 2019.
