Sarafraz Hussain

Sarafraz Hussain has extensive work experience in project management and technical writing.

In 2008, they started working for Elekta as a Global Planner, where they established strong connections with key markets, reviewed field support material, and conducted demand planning for global stocking locations. Sarafraz also gained experience as a Technical Author, maintaining technical service manuals and simplifying technical information for service bulletins and user notices.

From 2015 to 2017, Sarafraz worked as a Spares Planner for Acro Aircraft Seating, where they improved supply planning processes and provided support for sales orders and planned maintenance.

In 2016, they joined Vertu as a VCS Demand Planner/Inventory Forecaster, responsible for maintaining inventory reports, improving process efficiencies, and creating forecasts for thousands of SKUs. Sarafraz achieved a forecast accuracy rate of 60 to 70%.

At GSK, Sarafraz served as a CERPS Supply Chain Planning Documentation Specialist from 2017 to 2020. Sarafraz provided technical writing support, authored and maintained global standard operating procedures, and documented business processes for the ERP program.

In 2021, Sarafraz worked as a Technical Author for NHS Digital, where they created documentation for applications developed by the trust and established a new documentation process.

In 2022, they held project management roles at Contiem and Mekon Ltd, managing customer projects, assisting with pre-sales activities, and monitoring project progress and deliverables.

Sarafraz Hussain earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University between the years 2003 and 2006. Sarafraz then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Brunel University London from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a Masters degree in Engineering Management from the same institution during the same period.

In 2015, Hussain acquired an additional certification, the APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management, from APICS. Later in 2019, they completed the APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) program, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.

Continuing their education, they obtained two certifications, Agile Foundations and Scrum: The Basics, from LinkedIn in June 2022.
