Alex Orr

Alex Orr is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the fields of public relations, public affairs, and strategic communications. As the Managing Director and founding partner of Orbit Communications since April 2011, Alex has led integrated services that span governmental and non-governmental contexts. Previous roles include Director at Indigo (PR) Ltd from June 2006 to April 2011, where recognition came through awards from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for excellence in public affairs. Alex's earlier experience includes account management positions at Consolidated Communications and 3x1 Public Relations, where campaigns addressed significant issues, such as the introduction of the Smoking Ban in Scotland. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in History from the University of St Andrews, a Public Relations Diploma from Queen Margaret University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University.
