Nichol Podskalan

Nichol Podskalan has worked in a variety of roles in the tech and wildlife industries. Nichol began their career in 2005 as a Scientific Fish and Wildlife at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. In 2014, they moved to AeroVironment as a Geospatial Engineer and Manager. In 2018, Nichol became a Lead Software Engineer-Full Stack Developer at Illuminate. Most recently, they have been a Lead Software Engineer-Data Pipeline at Orbital Sidekick since 2022.

Nichol Podskalan is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Assistive/Augmentative Technology Engineering at California State University, Northridge. Previously, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Geography from California State University, Fullerton in 2011. They also hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geography from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and have completed a program in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant from Penn Foster.
