Peter Newcombe

Peter Newcombe has been working in the tech industry since 2003. Peter began their career as an Intern at Hyder Consulting, followed by a role as a Cartographic Officer & Application Developer at Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they also worked as a Consultant, providing GIS and data visualisation consultancy and full-stack systems development. From 2012 to 2017, they held the roles of Technical Team Lead and Senior Developer at Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government. In 2017, they became Director at Newbreakpoint Ltd. and, most recently, in 2021, they took on the role of Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Orbital Witness.

Peter Newcombe obtained a BSc in Geographical Information Science (Hons) from the University of South Wales between 2006 and 2009. In 2012, they achieved a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from APMG International.
