Imran Abdulla has a diverse and extensive work experience. Imran started their career at Reuters as an eLearning Web Developer in 2007. In 2008, they joined NEC Europe Ltd as a Technical Consultant. Imran then moved on to Orbus Software, where they held various roles over the years. Imran began as a Pre-Sales Consultant in 2009 and worked their way up to the position of Managing Consultant for Sales and Consultancy for EA and BPA Solutions. From 2015 to 2022, they served as the Head of EMEA Sales, followed by the role of SVP Sales - EMEA. Currently, Imran holds the position of VP Enterprise Accounts at Orbus Software.

Imran Abdulla's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at the University of Sunderland and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Business Computing in 2007. In 2009, Imran attended The Open Group and obtained certification as a Certified TOGAF 9 Practitioner in the field of Enterprise Architecture. In 2010, they pursued further education at TMFroum and received a certification in eTOM, specifically in the Frameworx (NGOSS) field of study. In 2015, Imran gained additional certifications, including becoming ArchiMate® Certified by The Open Group, specializing in the ArchiMate Modeling Language, and obtaining the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management by Axelos.
