Yanan Xie

Yanan Xie is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in AI and machine learning. Currently, Yanan works at Orby AI, focusing on foundation models for automation, collaborating with experts from Google Cloud Document AI. Previously, Yanan held several roles at Google from 2019 to 2023, serving as the Tech Lead for both Cloud LLM and Document AI Data Factory, overseeing data augmentation, model benchmarking, and generative AI solutions. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Research Engineer at Rulai, Inc., an intern at Google, and contributions as a founding engineer and co-founder in various startup initiatives. Yanan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Zhejiang University and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
