Shoshi Ben-Maor

Shoshi Ben-Maor has a strong background in engineering, with experience in computer vision algorithms, space systems engineering, mission design, and aerospace radar systems research and development. Shoshi's most recent role was as a Computer Vision Algorithms Engineer at Orca AI. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Space Systems Engineer at IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries. They also have experience working at NASA Ames Research Center in the Mission Design Center and at ELTA Systems Ltd as an Aerospace Radar Systems R&D Engineer.

Shoshi Ben-Maor completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2005 to 2009. Shoshi then pursued a Master of Engineering (Cum Laude) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2018. In 2019, they attended the International Space University, where they completed the Space Studies Program. In 2020, they enrolled in the School of Data Science YDATA, although no degree or field of study is specified. Shoshi also earned additional certifications, including becoming an Alumni of the Mentorship Program by Woman2Woman - 8200 Alumni Association in February 2021 and acquiring skills through Intel Corporation in September 2020.
