Sandro Binsfeld Ferreira

Sandro Binsfeld Ferreira is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in RFIC design and academic positions. Currently serving as an RFIC design Consultant at Orca Systems, Inc. since December 2021, Sandro also holds the position of Vice Chair at the IEEE SSCS/EDS South Brazil Joint Chapter, promoting advancements in Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF Integrated Circuits and Electronic Devices. As an Associate Researcher at itt Chip - Unisinos and an Associate Professor at the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos since August 2011, Sandro contributes to education and research in Electrical Engineering and semiconductor technology. Additional experience includes a PhD candidacy at UFRGS focusing on low power receiver architectures and work as a Guest Researcher at TU Delft. Sandro's teaching background spans various roles, including Assistant Professor at Faculdade de Tecnologia SENAI - FATEC and RF IC Instructor at NSCAD Microeletronica. Sandro holds a PhD in Microelectronics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, along with multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering and related fields.
