Andreas Sichert

Andreas Sichert is the Founder and CEO of Orcan Energy AG since September 2008. Andreas is also the Director of the Board at Orcan International Investment Holdings Limited starting from March 2018. From April 2018 to December 2018, Andreas held the position of Member of the Innovation Board at KAEFER Isoliertechnik GmbH & Co. KG. Andreas served as a Member of the Advisory Board to the Minister for Economic Affairs at the Bundesministerium Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie from an unspecified date in 2014 until 2017. Prior to these roles, Andreas worked as an Editorial Assistant at Biological Cybernetics (Scientific Journal, Springer) from 2007 to 2009 and as a Werksstudent at IBM Deutschland GmbH from 2001 to 2008.

Andreas Sichert pursued their education in Physics at the Technical University of Munich. Andreas obtained their Diplom Physiker Univ. degree in 2006 after completing their studies which lasted from 2001 to 2006. Furthering their academic pursuits, they enrolled in the university's doctoral program in Physics and successfully earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in 2010.
