Ahmed Ismail

Ahmed (Ed) Ismail is an accomplished investment professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as an Investment Associate at Grow In Africa Fund and HIMangel, Ed has also co-founded Orcas, a marketplace for high-quality tutors and babysitters. Prior roles include Grants Management Consultant at Fluxx Labs, Customer Advocate at Iron.io, and Business Development for Partnerships & Alliances at Odoo, where significant growth in partnerships was achieved. Ed co-founded Top Choice Admissions, Egypt’s first college consulting firm, and worked as an Analyst at Endeavor, assisting numerous startups. Ed holds an MBA from IESE Business School and dual BA degrees in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and Business/Managerial Economics from UCLA.
