Ron Smalley

Ron Smalley has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and facility management. Ron most recently held the position of Chief Engineer at Servi-Tek Facility Solutions, where they started in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Chief Engineer at Orchard Commercial Real Estate, overseeing multiple buildings and managing a crew of three union journeymen. Ron also served as a Regional Chief Engineer at Kilroy Realty Corporation and held various engineering and engineering management roles at Able Services, including client-facing facility commissioning, engineering, and maintenance management engagements. Ron has a strong background in directing construction and tenant improvement initiatives. Ron's career also includes experience as a Journeyman at ACCO Engineered Systems, where they performed preventive and corrective maintenance and installed and serviced HVAC equipment. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Driver at Lanier Worldwide, Inc.

Ron Smalley completed an HVAC Apprenticeship Program from Foothill College in San Mateo, California, from 2005 to 2010, specializing in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Ventilation Technology/Technician. Ron also attended Sierra Academy of Aeronautics in 1991-1992 to study airplane mechanics. Ron has obtained several additional certifications, including High Rise Fire Safety Director training from Stationary Engineers Local 39 in December 2021, Fire pump testing from the Office of the State Fire Marshal in November 2021, Locksmith Level 1 from the Local 39 Training Center in 2017, and CFC from the Esco Institute in 2003.
