Mark Sismey-durrant

Mr Mark Sismey-Durrant is a highly experienced business leader and banker, with substantial Board and Committee Chair experience (Risk, Audit, Nom/Rem). He has operated as CEO of three banks over 23 years and brings dual regulatory experience gained within UK retail and commercial banking and deposit taking in the UK and Channel Islands. He is a professionally qualified and trained banker with substantial specialist credit, deposits, risk management and governance experience. He is former CEO of Hampshire Trust Bank plc (which he led through a regulatory change of control in 2014), former Chairman and CEO of Sun Bank Plc (Part of Sun Life Financial of Canada) and former CEO of Heritable Bank Plc (Owned by Landsbanki hf). He is a former Director of the British Bankers Association and until recently Director and Chair of Audit and Oversight Committee for UK Finance.
