Alan Richardson has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding various roles such as Clinical Scientist, Senior Clinical Research Associate, Global Project Leader, and Director. Most recently, they served as the Senior Director of Clinical Development at Orchard Therapeutics, showcasing their expertise in clinical development and project management. Prior to this, Alan was the Director at AR Pharma Projects Ltd for over 13 years, where they honed their leadership skills and strategic planning abilities. Alan'sextensive background also includes positions at Ipsen, Speywood Pharmaceuticals, Syntex, and Astra Pharmaceuticals, contributing to their diverse and comprehensive professional portfolio.

Alan Richardson completed their education with a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physiology from The University of Sheffield in 1987. Prior to that, they attended The Judd School in Tonbridge, UK. Alan later went on to earn a Ph.D. in Gastrointestinal Physiology and Nutrition from The University of Sheffield in 1990.
