Christina Tkatchenko

Christina Tkatchenko has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Christina is currently working as a Software Engineer at Orchard since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at IBM from August 2018 to June 2021.

Before joining IBM, Christina had multiple roles at Binghamton University. Christina served as a Teaching Assistant, teaching students film photography techniques and principles of composition from January 2018 to May 2018. Christina also worked as a Frontend Engineer for the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, where they managed the department's website and gained experience in HTML, JavaScript, and PHP from September 2015 to May 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer for the Watson Capstone Project Management System from September 2016 to May 2017, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Global Health Impact Project, analyzing health data and conducting research from September 2015 to May 2017. Christina also served as a Residential Computer Consultant from August 2015 to May 2016.

Christina has further professional experience as an Electrical Systems Engineering Intern at Universal Instruments Corporation, where they developed code and communication systems for machine vision lighting strobe from June 2017 to August 2017. Christina also worked as a Quality Assurance Tester & Technical Support Staff at SynaMed, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop software features and fix defects, collecting customer feedback, and tracking bugs from May 2016 to August 2016.

Christina Tkatchenko pursued their education at Binghamton University between 2014 and 2018. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering. In 2020, they enrolled at Hack Reactor, where they completed an Advanced JavaScript Software Engineering Immersive program, earning a certificate in this area. Prior to their university studies, from 2010 to 2014, Christina attended Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences, where they obtained their High School Diploma with Advanced Regents Distinction.
