Katherine Maher

Katherine Maher has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Katherine started their career in 2016 as a Research Student at Albion College, where they focused on studying intimate partner violence within the LGBTQ community. Katherine received two summer research grants and completed a thesis for departmental honors in Sociology. In 2016, they also served as a Smooth Transitions Mentor at Albion College Intercultural Affairs, assisting students with their transition into college.

In 2018, Katherine joined Albion College Center for International Education as a Study Abroad Advisor. Their responsibilities included meeting with prospective students and parents to discuss study abroad opportunities, assisting current students with their applications and program selection, and conducting marketing and PR activities to promote study abroad.

Currently, Katherine works at Orchards Children's Services as an Adoption Resource Consultant since October 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Foster Care Case Manager from June 2019. Further details about their current position are not provided.
