Angela Stagg has extensive work experience in the medical and healthcare industry. Angela is currently serving as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations for Bioelectronic Therapies at Orchestra BioMed since September 2022.
Prior to this, Angela held several roles at Impulse Dynamics from 2004 to 2022. Angela worked as the Senior Director of Clinical and Data Operations, Director of Clinical and Data Operations, Director of Data Operations, and Clinical Trials Manager. In their roles, they oversaw various clinical trials, including the evaluation of an active implantable device for heart failure treatment. Angela was responsible for protocol development, EDC system development, and managing physician safety oversight committees.
Angela also worked at Stryker Orthopaedics from 2000 to 2004, where they served as a Senior Study Manager. Their responsibilities included managing multiple protocols for a total hip arthroplasty system and pre-IDE development for a Vertebroplasty Clinical Trial.
Earlier in their career, Angela worked at Boston Scientific as a Senior Clinical Research Associate and Clinical Research Associate II from 1997 to 2000. Angela played a crucial role in a clinical trial for evaluating a stent-graft for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms.
Before that, they worked at Meadox Medicals, Inc. from 1994 to 1996, where they served in a Quality Control and Quality Engineering role. Angela was responsible for reviewing engineering protocols, qualifying analytical equipment, and revising procedures.
Angela also gained experience at Integra LifeSciences in 1993, where they were part of the team that relocated a newly acquired company. This involved moving the entire company and merging document control systems and SOPs.
Lastly, Angela worked at United States Surgical Corporation from 1991 to 1993 in a Quality Control and Quality Engineering role. Angela wrote SOPs for an Organic Chemistry Lab and conducted equipment validation/qualification.
Throughout their career, Angela Stagg has demonstrated strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge in clinical operations, data management, and quality control within the medical industry.
Angela Stagg obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Fairfield University between 1986 and 1990. Their field of study focused on Physics, Engineering, and Mathematics.
