Jean-Luc Gagnon

Jean-Luc Gagnon has had a distinguished career in music, serving as a trompettiste with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal since September 1985. Gagnon also held the position of Musicien à l'OSM from 1985 to 2012. In addition to performing, Gagnon contributed to the academic field as a Chargé de cours at both the Université de Montréal from September 1989 to May 2005 and McGill University from September 1986 to May 1993. Gagnon's educational background includes a degree with Premier prix in trompette and musique de chambre from the conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal (1980-1986) and a DEC in Musique from Cegep de Sherbrooke (1978-1980).
