Holly Plaga has extensive experience in operational excellence, business process improvement, and change management. Holly has held roles such as Chairperson at Michigan Lean Consortium, Principal Engineer at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, and operational excellence manager at Dart Container. Holly has also worked as a consultant at BMGI and Pinnacle Strategies, where they led projects focused on lean concepts, process optimization, and system improvement. Holly Plaga began their education at Jackson College, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies in 1990. Holly then continued their studies at Michigan State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design in 1994. Recently, from 2017 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science in Management, Strategy and Leadership at Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business. Additionally, they obtained various certifications throughout their career, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Lawrence Technological University in 2010 and Change Pro Facilitator Certification from BMGI in 2012. Holly also holds certifications from Echelon Front and BMGI related to discipline development and strategy and tactics.
