Eirini Ganopoulou is a freelance translator currently working at the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union since January 2022. Previous experience includes an in-house technical translator position at SAIC, where translation focused on reports and technical specifications related to the procurement of a C4I Security System for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. Eirini also served as a trainee translator at the European Central Bank, translating and editing texts from English to Greek. Early career roles included office administration and client service in various companies, including Energy Net Ltd and IMEK Hellas S.A. Eirini holds a Master’s Degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the University of Strasbourg and a Bachelor’s Degree in French Language and Literature from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
