Diego Sebastiani is a seasoned professional in geotechnical engineering with a substantial background in research and innovation. As the co-Founder and Managing Director of GEEG s.r.l. since February 2018, Diego is committed to bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications in the engineering sector. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at Sapienza Università di Roma and holding multiple key roles, including a directorate position in SIG and Vice President of the Gallerie Commission for the Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Roma, Diego demonstrates leadership in advancing tunneling technologies. Diego's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, along with advanced qualifications in Project Management and Ecological Transition.
