Matthew Friedman

Matthew Friedman is a Cybersecurity Fusion - Threat Intelligence Analyst at Tyto Athene, LLC, supporting DISA and NORAD-NORTHCOM as part of the Cyber Warning Operations Center under a Global Solutions Management contract. Since July 2023, Matthew has been a member of the Order of the Sword and Shield, an honor society dedicated to homeland security and emergency management. Previous experience includes roles at Jacobs, where responsibilities spanned from Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst to Information Systems Security Officer, primarily supporting NORAD and U.S. Space Force operations. Matthew began a career in technology with self-study in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, and earlier in roles such as a Police Officer and 911 Communications Operator at Ocala Police Department, and as a Secure Radio Communications specialist in the US Army. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, as well as certifications in CISSP and CompTIA Network+.
