Sofia Stergiopoulou

Sofia Stergiopoulou has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Sofia started their career as a Computer Lab Assistant at the University of Macedonia in 2004. Sofia then worked as a Call Center Handler at Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA from 2005 to 2006. Sofia also had a brief role as a Lifeguard at Bayline Services in 2006.

From 2006 to 2010, they worked at Egnatia Odos S.A. as a Software Developer and later as a Software Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for developing desktop and web applications and supporting systems and applications. Sofia then moved on to work at the Manpower Employment Organization (OAED) as an Information Technology Teacher, teaching courses on Photoshop, Word/Excel/Powerpoint, Computer knowledge, SQL, and Visual Basic.

In 2010, Sofia joined the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki as a Software Developer. Sofia'srole involved developing web applications and pages and supporting systems and applications using technologies such as C#.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, ASP, Javascript, and PHP.

Sofia then worked at INTERSALONICA from 2011 to 2016 in multiple roles. As an Oracle Engineer, they were responsible for being a database administrator for their Oracle database and designing and developing in-house ERP applications. As a Java Software Engineer, they designed and developed web services for third party applications to connect to the company's database and functionalities. Sofia worked on various projects, including online pricing and payment of insurance fees, issue/edit/view insurance contracts, and automation of courier transactions.

Sofia'smost recent role is as a .NET Software Engineer at Ordereze since 2016. Sofia contributes to their online services and marketing platform for the restaurant industry, providing marketing tools and customizable web sites for clients.

Throughout their career, Sofia has gained experience in various technologies and programming languages, including Oracle, PL/SQL, JAX WS, JSP, Spring Framework, MVC, JSF, and PrimeFaces.

Sofia Stergiopoulou completed their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia, spanning from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their High School diploma from Eniaio Lykeio Lamias between 2000 and 2002. Sofia then pursued a Master's Degree in Information Systems from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2007 to 2009.
