Alex Bridges

Alex Bridges is an accomplished Senior Data Engineer at Ordnance Survey since June 2021, previously serving as Principal and Senior Consultant at 1Spatial from June 2015 to June 2021, where collaboration with U.S. subject matter experts was integral. Under the role of Big Data Specialist in the Geo Solutions Team at MAPMECHANICS from January 2008 to June 2015, Alex focused on innovative data supply solutions for various Oracle services and supported the use of HERE data across GIS software platforms. Earlier experience includes serving as a Map Data Consultant, NLPG Data Technician at Wealden District Council, and GIS Specialist at Infoterra. Alex holds a degree in GIS and Geography from the University of Portsmouth, completed in 2006, and attended The Skinners' School from 1995 to 2000.
