Carlos Butler Almécija

Carlos Butler Almécija has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Carlos is currently the Co-founder and CEO at ORDR, a restaurant platform that provides innovative ordering solutions and improves kitchen operations. Carlos also worked as a Technical Consultant at The Indigo Lighthouse Group and Koinly, where they provided technical expertise. Carlos served as a Senior Ruby Engineer at Induction Healthcare Group PLC, working on complex projects related to the Zesty Hospital+Patient platform. Carlos had an extensive tenure at ENOC Link, where they held the position of Head of Engineering and played a crucial role in team building and process optimization. Carlos was also a Lead Ruby Engineer at BCG Digital Ventures and held technical roles at Currencycloud, Made Tech, UBS Investment Bank, and Accenture UK.

Carlos Butler Almécija earned a BSci degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Loughborough University, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Carlos also obtained certifications in the field of technology, including becoming an AWS Certified Solutions Architect through Amazon Web Services in June 2019. Carlos also holds membership in British Mensa Limited, which they obtained in December 2015.
