Steve Toupenay

Steve Toupénay is a highly experienced professional in the fields of dentistry and law enforcement, currently serving as Président des 49ème Entretiens de Garancière at AUOG since October 2023. In addition to holding the position of Commissaire Divisionnaire Spécialiste at the Police nationale, Steve is a longstanding member of INTERPOL's FOd WG - DVI, contributing as an international expert in odontological victim identification. Steve has been associated with the Préfecture de Police de Paris as an expert at the Institut medico-légal since 2004 and has also served as an expert judiciaire for both the Cour de cassation and the Cour d'Appel de Paris. Holding several key roles within the Ordre national des chirurgiens-dentistes, including Référent National Police Nationale and Président de la Commission Numérique, Steve has also led the Athletic section at Paris Racing Multi Athlon. With a comprehensive academic background that includes a PhD in oral biology and a Doctorate in dentistry from Université Paris Cité, Steve has also contributed to academia as a Maitre de Conférence Universitaire Associé.
