Michael Garcia Mbe Finstre

Michael Garcia MBE FInstRE currently serves as the Technical Operations Director at Ordtek Limited, starting in January 2024. Previously, Michael held the role of UXO/EOD Consultant at Dagger Diving Services Ltd from June 2022 to December 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing UXO survey operations and advising on risk management. Prior to that, a significant career at the UK Ministry of Defence spanned from January 1984 to June 2022, culminating in the position of Director (Commanding Officer), managing over 950 personnel and their families. Other roles included Training Manager at the Defence Diving School, Logistics and Facilities Manager, and Senior Department Manager of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squadron in Afghanistan. Michael’s career began in the British Army as a Junior Leader, advancing to Warrant Officer Class One before receiving an Officer Commission in 2005.
