Derek Sangston

Derek Sangston currently serves as the Policy Director and Counsel at Oregon Business & Industry, a position held since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Legislative Director to Senate President Peter Courtney and Chief of Staff for Senator Mark Hass in the State of Oregon from January 2017 to January 2023. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University, and an Associate of Arts in Political Science from Central Oregon Community College.
