Erik Lukens

Erik Lukens is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Director at Oregon Business & Industry since January 2022. Prior to this role, Erik held the position of VP for Business Solutions at GL Solutions from September 2019 to December 2021 and was a member of the National Advisory Board at The Poynter Institute from September 2017 to August 2019. Erik has an extensive background in journalism, having served as Editor at The Bulletin and Editorial and Commentary Editor at The Oregonian, in addition to multiple editorial roles at The Bulletin and The Trentonian. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Cornell University and a Doctor of Philosophy in English Literature from Princeton University.
