Fred Saunders is a dedicated Math and Science Educator at Oregon City Schools since August 2011. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at The University of Toledo, where Fred conducted extraction experiments on inulin from Russian dandelion root, and a position as a Senior Research Engineer at the General Motors Research and Development Center, contributing to the advancement of aluminum forming processes. Fred holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Toledo and a Doctor of Philosophy as well as a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University. Fred also earned a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
