Forrest Cooper

Forrest Cooper is an experienced acupuncturist and educator, operating as the owner and acupuncturist at Forrest Cooper Licensed Acupuncturist since January 2001. Specializing in musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries, Forrest is recognized for a gentle needling technique complemented by a vigorous massage style. Additionally, Forrest has served as a faculty member at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine since September 2000, instructing aspiring acupuncturists in detecting and treating musculoskeletal diseases through Chinese medical massage (Tui Na), as well as various acupuncture techniques and skills. Forrest holds a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Michigan.

Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) is an accredited graduate school offering two degree programs: a master's (MAcOM) and a clinical doctorate (DAOM). Our academic programs provide students with a solid foundation in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, therapeutic massage, and qi cultivation, as well as a focus on collaboration between Chinese medicine and Western biomedicine.
