Jennifer Coleman possesses extensive experience in communications within the environmental sector, currently serving as the Development Communications Associate Director and Senior Editor at the Environmental Defense Fund since May 2019. Previously, Coleman has held the position of Health Communications and Outreach Director at the Oregon Environmental Council since January 2009, where efforts focus on fostering policy, business, and personal changes for environmental protection. Prior experience includes serving as the Internal Communications Director at Environmental Defense from 1997 to 2008, where responsibilities encompassed strategic communication planning, internal infrastructure development, and multimedia project direction. Jennifer Coleman holds an MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree from Beloit College.
