Moira Bowman

Director, Advocacy at Oregon Food Bank

Over more than three decades in Oregon, Moira has had the opportunity to work in support of justice and equity at the local, state and national level.

Prior to joining Oregon Food Bank in 2018, Moira served as deputy director for Forward Together, a national organization working to change policy and culture so all families can thrive. Moira supervised development of civic engagement programs that supported low-income individuals and families of color in building political power. She previously led gender justice and antiracist initiatives at Western States Center.

Moira spends free time reading and growing vegetables with her partner Diane and sweet dog.
