Starr has been deeply involved with the Oregon Food Bank community since 2003, guiding volunteer teams, overseeing branch programs and leading efforts to end hunger alongside partners across the state. With a passion for social justice and systemic change, her focus is on supporting communities to implement people-centered, integrated solutions to hunger and poverty.
Starr received her bachelor’s degree in community development and sustainable agriculture and holds a master’s degree in public administration. She is a podcast enthusiast and loves to explore the outdoors with her two small children and her energetic dog.
