Andrea Yoshioka

Andrea Yoshioka is an experienced professional currently serving as an Alliance Manager in Business Development at the Knight Cancer Institute within Oregon Health & Science University since April 2016. Yoshioka previously worked as a Scientist at Sapphire Energy from May 2008 to February 2015, focusing on advanced biofuels, and held a Post Doctoral Fellow position at The Scripps Research Institute from May 2007 to April 2008. Yoshioka earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics from Scripps Research from 2001 to 2007, and holds an M.S. in Plant Physiology and a B.S. in Genetics from Iowa State University, completed in 2001 and 1999 respectively. Early education includes attending Wayzata High School from 1992 to 1995.
